Black History Tours at the Hall of Fame
Tours on Wednesdays and Saturdays through March 15th

(Portsmouth, VA)  The Virginia Sports Hall of Fame is offering Black History Month tours on Wednesdays at 3pm and Saturdays at 10am and 4pm through March 15, 2006. The half-hour tour is included with admission and will take visitors through the museum to highlight the accomplishments of some of the African-American inductees in the Hall of Fame.

Some of the individuals highlighted in the tour are: William Lewis, Yogi Hightower-Boothe, Kenny Easley, Ralph Sampson, Benita Fitzgerald-Mosley, Arthur Ashe, Wendell Scott, Leon Day, Ray Dandridge, Junius Kellogg and Earl Lloyd.
